Chomp is a MacOS app that lets you properly quit the last open window of an app. When you close an app, Chomp waits to verify there's no pending file saves or other windows still open, and then fully terminates the app, giving you back precious system resources and gives Bruce, the friendly shark an app to Chomp on.
There are a couple apps such as Discord or Parsec for example that use background notification windows, hidden overlay windows, or use WebView components that register as separate windows. Chomp is designed to quit an app only when the last open window of an app is closed. Apps such as these are outside the fundamental limitation of Chomp at the moment since it's inherent to how these complex apps manage their window lifecycle and interact with the macOS window system.
